Road2WebSummit 2019

Road2WebSummit (R2WS) is a joint programme from Startup Portugal and the Web Summit, designed to help Portuguese startups make the most out of the biggest tech event in the world. In 2016, 66 startups went through the program, in 2017, 150 startups did, and in 2018 the program benefited 200 enterprises.

In this 2019 edition we’re mixing things up and focusing not only in the Web Summit. We’re considering the R2WS as the perfect opportunity to train and prepare startups not only for the biggest tech conference in the globe, but also for a world stage, setting the ground for internationalization.

For the value of 50% of a Web Summit Alpha pass, Portuguese startups will be granted access to the Alpha Program on Web Summit, access to an intesive bootcamp, and internationalization opportunities (details soon to be announced).

The 50% discount will impact the price of Alpha tickets at the time a startup applies to R2WS and the offer will be backdated. All confirmed attending startups will be announced in October.

To access the benefits, startups must qualify through Web Summit application process. Application period ends on October 4th.

To be eligible, startups must be registered to pay VAT in Portugal.
