LISPOLIS helps create Peninsular Open Innovation Network

LISPOLIS has actively participated in the creation of a new network, the Peninsular Open Innovation Network, which has as leaders the University of Málaga and the Technological Pole of Andalusia (PTA). This network will also be promoted by a number of Portuguese entities, such as the University and the Technological Pole of Aveiro, the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém and the University of Algarve.

Technology transfer, innovation and internationalization are everyone’s concerns, whether we are talking about Universities, Technological Centers or companies, in Spain or Portugal. A smaller collaboration network has the possibility of facilitating the dissemination of the generated knowledge, facilitating the realization of Open Innovation processes or making applications in which entities from both countries and the Network participate.

The network was launched in February in Spain and Faro hosted the last meeting in July, which discussed not only a group of good practices but also the respective document for the creation of the Network, which is expected to be formally constituted in October in Portugal.
