The deadline for submitting applications to the Green Project Awards is 31 May, a contest that distinguishes national best practices in terms of sustainability.
- The competition categories are:
- Agriculture and Forestry;
- Youth Initiative;
- Innovation and Circular Economy;
- Social Innovation and Mobilization;
- Sea;
- Tourism;
- Urbes.
In addition to the category awards, the competition also includes special prizes such as the GPA – REN Biodiversity and Forests Prize; the GPA – EGF Innovation and Circular Economy Prize; the GPA – ANI Born From Knowledge Award (BfK AWARDS); and the GPA – COTEC Indústria 4.0 Award.
All finalists will see the candidate projects being the target of communication generated by the Green Project Awards, with particular emphasis on partners of the initiative.
All winners will be candidates for international awards representing Portugal, such as the European Business Awards for the Environment (EBAE) and the GPA-CPLP Distinction.
The winners and honorable mentions are awarded the GPA ’17 seal which they can use for 1 year to promote and communicate the distinguished project.
