Tourism Explorers is a program organized by the Startups Factory, in partnership with Turismo de Portugal, which will take place simultaneously in 12 cities throughout the country. It consists of two phases: Ideation and Acceleration. In the phase of ideation, which runs from June 5 to 9, 2017, new solutions will be created by people interested in developing projects related to tourism, based on the strategic challenges of the sector. Meanwhile, in the phase of acceleration, which will take place between June 19 and August 4, 2017, teams with projects related to tourism will be able to test and validate their business models.
Applications for Tourism Explorers are open and run until May 24, 2017 at www.tourismexplorers.pt. For the acceleration phase they extend until June 7, 2017. Those interested in participating simply need motivation and interest in the areas of tourism and curiosity for the world of entrepreneurship.
