Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program

In order to support companies in our community, LISPOLIS joins Beta-i to support the dissemination of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program. This European Commission program aims to facilitate exchanges for young entrepreneurs within the European Union. SMEs and startups can welcome young entrepreneurs from another European country to work side-by-side with you.

How does the program work?

SMEs and startups can welcome young entrepreneurs from 1 to 6 months
The program covers young entrepreneur costs
The entrepreneur who receives the young entrepreneur must have +3 years of experience as an entrepreneur
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is an international program that gives new entrepreneurs, or those who wish to be entrepreneurs, the opportunity to acquire knowledge to run small businesses, together with experienced entrepreneurs, in another participating country.

The exchange of experiences occurs during the stay with the experienced entrepreneur, allowing the new entrepreneur to acquire the specific skills necessary to run a small business. The host entrepreneur benefits from new perspectives on your business and has the opportunity to cooperate with foreign partners or acquire knowledge about new markets.

The main advantages of this program are:

  • As a new entrepreneur, you will benefit from on-the-job training in a small or medium-sized company based in a country participating in the program. This will facilitate the success of starting your business or strengthening your new project. You can also benefit from access to new markets, international cooperation and the potential for collaboration with business partners abroad.
  • As a host entrepreneur, you can benefit from new ideas about your business from a motivated young entrepreneur. He or she may have skills or knowledge in areas that are not dominated by you and that can complement yours. Most entrepreneurs have enjoyed the experience so much that they have decided to welcome other new entrepreneurs.

It is really a win-win collaboration through which both can discover new markets or European business partners and new ways of doing business.

In the long term, you will benefit from extensive networking opportunities and possibly decide to continue their collaboration in the form of a long-term business partnership (eg joint ventures, subcontracting activities, contractor-supplier relations, etc. .).
