Bio-All is a program created under Erasmus + and coordinated by UbiMedical in partnership with BGI – Building Global Accelerators that aims to promote knowledge and entrepreneurship in the BioHealth area.
This project has thirteen partners from three different countries (Portugal, Italy and Spain) who will co-create an international postgraduate degree in advanced skills for innovation and entrepreneurship in the BioHealth sector, as well as a joint international acceleration program that will launch fifteen early stage startups.
The BioAll Gear Box Accelerator thus has applications open here until March 31st 2021, and is looking for 5 Portuguese startups, who will have access to:
- a Welcome Day
- a week of immersive training in entrepreneurship in the BioHealth area
- physical incubation
- an exclusive mentoring program
- several workshops.
After presenting all the projects, the winning solution for each country will be chosen, which will receive a prize of € 5,000. During the program, the selected startups will also have a co-working space from June to September, which will include weekly checks and an exclusive mentoring program with professionals in the area, which consists of masterclasses, workshops and individual meetings.
The program is aimed at teams that seek to adapt their product to the market and that have already passed the ideation phase, as well as organizations or researchers that have already gone through the first steps in the formation of the company and in the development of the concept.
Innovative ideas should be focused on the BioHealth area, covering medical devices, drug development or non-invasive and non-regulatory therapies. Finally, candidates must be less than five years old.
