Tourism Explorers 4a Edicao

Tourism Explorers 4th edition

The Tourism Explorers program, promoted by Fábrica de Startups in partnership with Turismo de Portugal, returns to its 4th edition, with open and free applications for the Ideation Phase (until October 7) and Acceleration (until October 16).

Ideação will help participants to create a successful business, starting from a specific challenge in the Tourism sector. There will be three days of bootcamps (full-time) where you can create a work team with other people who want to develop a project in the field of Tourism. The best teams will be selected for the Acceleration phase.

The Acceleration consists of 6 days of bootcamps (full-time), with access to mentoring sessions with tourism specialists and workshops, which will help participants to define the best strategy for the business.

At the end of the bootcamps, each of the 12 cities will choose the best local project, which will then represent that city in the National Grand Final, where they can win € 10,000!

Over the past three years, Tourism Explorers has helped over 440 startups to identify ideas, create teams, design business models, find customers, (re) launch their projects on the market, and even be invested by Portugal Ventures, such as Sailside, Try Portugal, Bag4Days and Live Electric Tours (which was also awarded the prize for Best Tourism Startup in 2018, at the Startup Europe Awards, organized by the European Commission, in partnership with Fábrica de Startups).
