The Program for Support to Social Entrepreneurs, PAES, is a program promoted by the Santa Casa da Misericórdia in Lisbon, through its Department of Entrepreneurship and Social Economy (DEES), which aims to attract projects that develop innovative products and services, aimed at problem solving and needs in the context of the Social Economy.
The program aims to support the validation of sustainable business models, enhancing the startup and implementation in the social market of startups through the planning, development and execution of short, medium and long term strategies.
The program is intended for start-ups and business projects with an innovation component, and which have been in development for at least 6 months at the application date, and for-profit and non-profit corporate entities with at least 6 months of activity in their industry.
The top 3 teams will have access to an internationalization program, which includes overseas travel and networking meetings, and the winning team for a prize of € 15,000.
