From January 30 to March 12, the Fundación Repsol accelerator, “Fondo de Emprendedores”, is looking for innovative startups in the energy industry and advanced mobility sectors. The selected projects will receive financial support of up to 144,000 euros in a year, as well as training, advice from a team of mentors and access to potential investors.
The seventh call of the Entrepreneurs Fund, the Repsol Foundation accelerator that supports the best startups that offer innovative solutions in the field of energy, advanced mobility, circular economy and new materials for the energy industry and is now underway. chemistry.

We have two levels of development:
Projects: more mature startups but that have not yet reached the commercial phase.
Ideas: startups that are validating their technology or business model.
The proposals that are selected will receive financial support, specialized training, advice from a team of mentors and access to potential investors. This support does not imply any kind of participation in the capital of the company or transfer of intellectual property rights by Fundación Repsol.
The acceleration process lasts one year, which in the case of projects may be extended for a second year.
For the business development of the projects, the Entrepreneurs Fund offers up to 144,000 euros for one year. In the case of ideas, they are supported with 2,000 euros per month for 12 months.
This initiative supposes a support to the talent of the entrepreneurs, making their projects reach the market in the shortest possible time.
Who can participate?
The call is addressed to small and medium companies, although individuals may also participate who have not yet established their company.
The Entrepreneurs Fund is a global initiative, in which entrepreneurs from any part of the world can participate, since it is not necessary to travel to any workspace on a continuous basis.
This accelerator, expert in energy, supports startups that work on innovative solutions in different areas:
Digitization and mobility, with innovative proposals that create value for people.
New materials for the chemical and energy industry, construction, home or transport.
Circular economy.
Improvement of energy efficiency and / or processes in operations in the energy and chemical industry.
The Entrepreneurs Fund in figures
Fundación Repsol, through its Entrepreneurs Fund, seeks to effectively support entrepreneurs who contribute their innovations to the construction of a more sustainable energy model.
After six editions, more than 2,400 proposals have been evaluated and a total of 43 startups have been accelerated. The initiatives selected this call will be announced in the third quarter of 2018.
Last year, a total of eight startups were selected, four in the ideas category and four projects.
