HealthTech Lisboa (HTL), in partnership with LISPOLIS, will present a session to publicize the results of the FC&RD project, developed by FastCompChem, on March 24 at 2:30 pm. This online session will also feature a brief presentation of LISPOLIS, as well as other projects accompanied by HTL: DeepNeuronic, CovidSight and Nuada.
The goal is to create a space for the dissemination and sharing of startups and innovative projects linked to the health and medical technology cluster, without forgetting the fundraising theme. Thus, several players from the HealthTech sector will be present.
About the FC&RD project
FastCompChem, a quantum mechanics company dedicated to accelerating clinical and pharmaceutical testing and testing processes, has developed a computer vision algorithm that allows the rapid identification of the existence of Covid-19 on traditional radiographs. This solution is painless for the patient and faster than the process currently used, with the samples collected by swabs that have to be transported to clinical analysis centers to obtain the results, which in optimal conditions takes at least 5 hours. The innovation consists in uploading the radiography to a cloud based platform that analyzes the image and offers the result in just a few seconds, in a process that can be done from anywhere in the world.
