Entrepreneurship Grant 2017

The Entrepreneurship Grant event will take place on 9 May 2017 at the Champalimaud Foundation, in Lisbon, and will bring together entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs and entities that manage access to funding sources (European, national and local funds, banking and venture capital), Host institutions and others relevant to the business context (business angels, incubators, associativism, industrial property protection).

 

 

This is an event that the European Commission's Representation in Portugal organizes for the fifth time and consists of the final phase of a program that started in February with the opening of the "Elevator Pitch - Ideas That Marked" competition, which brought together about 150 proposals Of business. After a careful analysis, the Representation selected 24 teams that had the opportunity to attend a bootcamp and a set of specific formations for a first contact with various management tools necessary to develop their business ideas. Now is the time to reveal the two winners.

 

 

This event will be divided into several moments. In the morning, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., the winners of the ideas competition will be revealed at a conference attended by Carlos Moedas, European Commissioner, Manuel Caldeira Cabral, Minister of Economy, Pedro Duarte Guimarães, Intellectual Property Institute of the European Union, Teresa Mendes of the Pedro Nunes Institute and Eduardo Maldonado of the Foundation for Science and Technology. Also during the morning the two winning teams of the contest will make a presentation of one minute each.

 

 

Already during the afternoon, between 14.00 and 18.00, the Entrepreneurship Grant will provide four workshops stations. In total, there are 16 sessions of 50 minutes each, which run in parallel in four rooms, on the topics "Startup", "Business", "Capitalize" and "Develop", all taught by professionals experienced in various areas. Microcredit and crowdfunding, brands and patents, Portugal 2020 and support for entrepreneurship or leadership and talent management are just a few examples. An opportunity for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs to deepen key concepts.

 

 

The 2017 Entrepreneurship Grant intends to be an entrepreneurship space that will bring together the various agents involved in the creation and development of businesses. For this reason, it will have an official exhibition area, with about 20 stands, financial institutions, support for entrepreneurship and innovation promotion. LISPOLIS will also be present with a stand.
